World of Warcraft Map

Each and every day, there is a new player added to the large subscriber list of WoW by Blizzard Entertainment-one of the most popular multi-player internet based role playing games. To do well in this game, one of the things which is important for you to have is the World of Warcraft map.

When you enter the WoW game for the 1st time, you will notice in the top right hand corner, you have a little circle that is kind of vague. This is the mapping of the details that are close to you and if you click on the "M" key on your keyboard, the World of Warcraft map will open up all the way. . It may contain a few little suggestions, such as terrains and points of the region where you are, but it is a very limited view so it is your goal to unlock the areas and characteristics of the map. As you search the world, you will be able to do this. As you locate new areas, you will gain what is called "experience points" - these points help in your leveling up throughout the game.

As the map reveals itself, you will see that there are three types of ‘zooms' that are supplied. First, you can view the world in a general view. This is a broad outline of the terrain of the server that you are participating on. Early on the game, this seems to be rather unclear. You should now use the zoom to get a clearer and better picture of any specific area of the World of Warcraft game.

This is great when you are trying to unlock certain areas of the game. The next zoom is for looking at the continents. All of these features in the World of Warcraft map are essential to the overall success of your game experience. World of Warcraft-A few Basics

World of Warcraft is an amazingly easy game to get started playing. You will find a number of beginner areas and quests that help to ease you into the game. The players you come across are pretty friendly and helpful and most will answer any questions you may have.

For new players there is an in game help system. (you will see a flashing exclamation mark on the bottom of your screen).Also, any questions about anything on the interface you can hold the mouse over the item which will bring up a tooltip.

When starting off in the game, be sure to ask your friends which realm they are playing in since characters on different realms cannot play with each other nor can they normally move between realms.

You will also need to create a character by choosing his or her race, gender, and class. It's a good idea to do some research before making this choice.

Here is one great tip on making serious amounts of gold in World of Warcraft.


Defias Windmill- This is a great place to farm that can be done at almost any level. This spot was revealed on the official forums right after release and to this day it hasn't changed and is still great.

If you head out to the Gold Coast area in Westfall you will find a windmill on a hill overlooking the beach (there is a murloc camp right below it on the beach). Surrounding this windmill are a ton of Defias mobs that you can kill and get a ton of linen and other good humanoid loot. They are only around level 12 so it easy to do.

What makes this area so great is that their respawn rate is almost immediate. Even at level 60 I can come here and farm linen cloth and they have started respawning before the first of them are even dead.

I'm serious when I say it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to kill them all before new ones respawn.
You can take them on one at a time or AOE if you have the ability and farm non-stop.
You can easily make a lot of money off the linen and low level greens that drop here. In fact, like I said above, this spot is so good that I still grind it at 60 when I need cash fast. You will get numerous stacks of linen and a ton lower level green rank items. This will work at even low levels.
